Here is one of the ways to make our students speak during the speaking class, especially for narrative text in grade IX.
Steps:
- After a sufficient session of building knowledge of the field, ask your students to choose one of the many stories you can find.
- Assign them to make a paper puppet show using the story. Encourage them to make the performance for at least 3 minutes.
- Encourage them to make dialogue as many as possible during the performance.
- To keep your students quite when others making performance, provide a form that they should fulfill.
- Provide a loud speaker to make the performance more interesting.
